Lesley

Lesley is a devoted mother of three girls, life coach, teacher, and advocate for personal growth and spiritual development. With over two decades of experience, Lesley's journey began in education, where she found passion and inspiration guiding children in the public school system. However, as she deepened her understanding, she realized the system's limitations and embarked on a transformative journey, including teaching and traveling in Japan. This experience fueled her commitment to creating an educational environment aligned with her values.  Currently balancing her roles as a mother of three daughters, a teacher at a forest school, and a student in yoga teacher training, Lesley continues to empower others on their transformative journeys through life coaching. Her coaching approach focuses on finding peace and joy by releasing limiting beliefs and embracing authenticity. Lesley's mission is to guide others toward self-awareness and liberation, empowering them to live their truth. If you're ready to embark on your journey of personal growth, reach out to Lesley for a complimentary coaching session.

Lyndsey McGuire

Lyndsey McGuire graduated from Indiana University in 2003 with a degree in English Education.  In 2004, she moved to Colorado and began practicing yoga.  In 2006, she traveled to India to receive her 200 hour Yoga Teacher training certificate from the Foundation of Pathanjali Yoga Kendra in Bangalore.  The following year she returned to India to complete her 500 Hour Yoga Teacher training.  Immersing herself in the Ashtanga Yoga Tradition, she developed her own sitting practice as an extension of her asana practice.  Using her own life and body as a laboratory, she began to see the immense benefits of living an attentive life. With many hours of practice under her belt and a perennial thirst for knowledge, she sought out as many teachings as she could about the art of mindfulness and what it means to be fully embodied in the present moment.  Her search led her to Adyashanti, Jack Kornfield, Ram Dass, Pema Chodron, and Tara Brach—all American teachers who had found a wellspring of knowledge and practices from the far East.  Raised in a Christian home, but utterly transformed by her time in India,  Lyndsey’s teachings are a distillate of varied traditions that all aim at one thing: deep immersion in a soulful life.

In addition to practicing yoga and meditation, Lyndsey has been a writer for her entire adult life.  She competed for membership and earned a spot on the 2009 Denver Mercury Cafe Slam Poetry Team, and then competed at the 2009 National Poetry Slam.  Her poetry has appeared in the Borderlands Texas Poetry Review.

In 2022, Lyndsey joined a writing group that was inspired by Natalie Goldberg’s book “Writing Down the Bones.”  Riveted by the quality of work that came from the group when writers were encouraged to keep their pens moving and write whatever arose in the moment, she was motivated to begin facilitating her own groups.  Through the teachings of Natalie Goldberg, she saw the corollary between writing and mindfulness practice, and her classes became a natural extension of those two great loves.  Lyndsey hosts three to four online writing group sessions a year, and is currently writing a memoir.

"In our times, it is radical to choose to sit still and be silent, to resist an identity of busyness, ceaseless motion, and noise, and to reclaim our sanity and our humanity by coming
home to ourselves"
